For this one, the title landed first. Last October I was not only sitting with the death of a close family member, but decided to leave my relationship. I was asked if I could trust in those days getting darker and darker while winter was around the corner. 
This artwork reminded me that even in the darkest moment there always is a little crack where we can sense the light. Where we can look within and see that we can choose to trust. From that moment on the light came back. Not with one big bang, but slowly, like the winter sun coming out just for a moment to remind us, that she is still there.
