working with natural pigments is really the art of listening
Since I started working with earth as my main art material, my creative process completely shifted. I feel deeply connected to the resources we have and the creative capacity that is inherent in each of us.
Throughout the process, from finding my pigments to the finished art work, earth is creating with me. I am in a constant conversation with her. Tuning into what she was formed of, what shaped her - and then in the final step making visible what was hidden before.
